Ravi Shastri as New Coach of Team India Officially Announced

Only not as much as a month after Anil Kumble step down as the Indian cricket team couch, previous Team Director Ravi Shastri has been authoritatively delegated the new head couch.BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), including previous players Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, talked with five hopefuls – previous Indian cricketers: Ravi Shastri, Virender Sehwag and Lalchand Rajput, Australian cricketer Tom Moody and Englishman Richard Pybus before concluding Shastri to fill the empty position of Team India’s head mentor.
The choice has been brought simply in the wake of counseling with captain Virat Kohli, who professedly caused previous mentor Kumble to venture down.
Shastri has apparently marked a two year contract, and hence he will remain the mentor when India plays the 2019 ICC World Cup.
The arrangement of Shastri as Team India’s mentor has not run well with the greater part of the Indian cricket fans who contend that he will simply go about as a ‘Yes Man’ to captain Kohli.
