Actor Shivaji will go on an indefinite hunger strike at the Hindhu College in Guntur from May 3 demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh.
This was announced by Shivaji at a press conference on Saturday.
The actor- turned -politician said ” I have entered into politics not for self interests. I joined the BJP hoping that it would grant special status to AP.”
He also requested Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to come forward to help the people of AP on the Special status issue.
It may be recalled here that Shivaji had staged a novel protest along with his followers by standing in Krishna waters in Vijayawada.
