Criticizing the TDP government for misusing official machinery to settle political scores, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has demanded for a CBI inquiry into the recent murders of YSRCP leaders in the MRO office in Ananthapuram district.

Speaking to the media Monday after submitting a memorandum to Governor at Raj Bhavan “We have apprised the Governor ESL Narasimhan of the deteriorating law and order situation in the State, government offices becoming the haven for killing political rivals, State sponsored attacks being on raise and asked him to ensure a CBI probe into the incidents.”

There were eight murders in Ananthapuram district alone and the DGP, who was to retire in two months was given two years extension, hails from the same district and hobnobs with TDP leaders, who are on the rampage killing YSRCP leaders in a ghastly manner.

The April 29th murder of B Prasada Reddy was very heinous. He was called to the MRO office by the Revenue Inspector on phone and when he turned up, he was brutally murdered and the weapons were stacked in the MRO office itself. The name plate of the Sub-Inspector was found at the scene of offence which happens to be a government office giving credence to the fact that this is a state-sponsored murder. Irony is the police station is next door.
