The Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has presented a Rs 1,11,824-crore budget for 2014-15 in the State Legislative Assembly today.
This includes a Plan expenditure of Rs 26,673 crore and non-Plan outlay of Rs 85,151 crore.
The Budget leaves a revenue deficit of Rs 6,064 crore and a fiscal deficit of Rs 12,064 crore, the latter working out to 2.3 pet cent of GSDP.
The budget being presented by the Telugu Desam government after a gap of 10 years.
The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to develop the Machilpatnam port under PPP mode and 14 minor seaports under PPP including Bhavanapatnam and Kalingapatnam.
Yanamala also said that the Centre has proposed establishment of a second major port in the state and one more commercial port at Kakinada.
The state has also decided to support in expanding existing airports at Vijaywada, Rajmundry, Tirupati and Kadapa.
A greenfield airport is envisaged in between Vijaywada and Kakinada.
