AP Intelligence bureau reviews Naidu’s Security system

The Security of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is being stepped. Currently, Naidu is under ‘Z plus’ category protection and his security detail includes members from the elite National Security Guard apart from AP Police’s Intelligence Security Wing.

He had survived a claymore mine attack by Naxals way back in October 2003 at Alipirigate in Tirumala. The Communist Party of India (Maoist) threatening to “take revenge” on the Chief Minister over the 28 Maoists were killed by police force in Malkangiri encounter this week. In the wake of a threatening letter was released by CPI (Maoist) Party, Naidus’ security has strengthened. Director General of Police, N. Sambasivarao has also given clear cut instructions to the CM’s Security officials. Strangely, Maoist leader Shyam has released a letter with the threatening call of “suicide attacks” which was not done by the Maoist still now. In the letter, threatening to take revenge the “Malkangiri killings” by targeting the Chief Minister and his son Lokesh. Incidentally, Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) A B Venkateswara Rao told to media personals that, Intelligence department will review the security systems currently in place for the Chief Minister and increase the security accordingly. They are also planning to strengthen the Chief Minister Security system to protect him from all forms of threats.
