Prior, Telugu Desam Party has passed the Bill of incorporation of Kapus into BCs in AP Assembly and sent it to the Parliament. The State has requested that the Center incorporate Kapus into BCs without influencing the BC people group.
Andhra Pradesh state government has requested that the Center incorporate Kapus under Schedule-9 ala in Tamil Nadu. The Kapu Reservations Bill permits the Kapu people group individuals to have education and employment .
