The adaptation of a village by Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneswari turned into controversial. She adopted the Komaravolu village in Pamarru mandal in Krishna district as part of ‘Smart Village Program’.
Currently, adaptation coated with political colour. The opposition YSRCP’s deputy floor leader Uppuleti Kalpana alleged that Babu and Bhuvaneswari have resorted to corruption to the tune of 7 crores by breaking the rules and misusing the RDF funds allotted for various developmental programs in the village.
Kalpana alleged conspiracy in catering such a huge amount to a single village when the rest of the surrounding villages in the constituency too have not even proper roads and sanitation. Questioning Babu’s non-transparent governance, Kalpana said that the YSRCP leaders will raise this issue during the upcoming winter assembly session
