CM Chandra Babu unveils the state credit plan

AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled the state annual credit plan with an outlay of Rs 1,66,806 crore for the year 2017-2018 at the State-Level Bankers Committe (SLBC) meeting at Velagapudi on Friday.

According to plan, Rs 1,26,806 crore is for planned sector and Rs 40,000 crore is allocated to non-planned sector. In which, Rs 63,106 crore is short-term loan and Rs 6,311 crore is tenant farmers loan.

The SLBC also decided to implement a single integrated system to weed out bogus beneficiaries in short term loans, etc. This is to benefit the tenant farmers in a big way. So far, the land owners have been availing the loans and enjoying the benefits of the interest subvention scheme though the land is under cultivation of the tenant farmer.

The SLBC also decided to complete targets set for government schemes and programmes implemented through corporations such as SC, ST, BC, Kapu and Brahmin before September-end.

Mr Naidu insisted the official that the accountability of the beneficiaries must be monitored by a single system, and updated real time on the web portal, Online Beneficiary Management & Monitoring System (OBMMS).

Andhra Bank Managing Director and CEO Suresh N.Patel, Executive Director AK Rath, RBI Regional Director R.Subramanian, GM Subbaiah, Andhra Bank CGM GSV Krishna Rao and Nabard CGM VVV Satyanarayana were among those present.
