Megha Engineering Company Limited owners PP Reddy and PV Krishna Reddy inaugurated safe drinking water scheme in their native village Dokiparru village in Gudlavalleru mandal in Krishna district. It was first of its kind that the water supply scheme will run by solar power.
In the memory of thier parents P Krishna Reddy and Bhadramma, the Megha Engineering company owners have taken up the safe drinking water programme for local people. Speaking on the occasion, PP Reddy said that he wanted to promote the village a role modal in the country by developing infrastructure including hospital, education facility, road network and other basic civic amenities.
The company Chairman recalled that he tried to establish drinking water system on 1985 but he was not allowed due to local conditions at that time. The waterbody which is lifeline to meet drinking water needs has been polluted with the discharge of wastage.
MD PV Krishna Reddy announced that they will also open a junior college and provide education to all poor. Application seeking permission was already submitted to government. He clarified his family do not have any plans to foray into politics.
CID SP Kalidasu Venkata Ranga Rao said people who succeeded in the business should come forward and extend help to their village for the development of future generations.
