In the last two years, many earth tremors occured in Prakasam and Nellore districts. In two months 13 earth tremors  are felt by the people of those districts.

People spent sleepless nights and got heebi – jeebies due to tremors. Scientists say that the people need not be afraid of such tremors, though rare, are common. Rain water while percolating deep into the earth causes such tremors as rocks under the ground slightly move.
