YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that he would regularize the contract lecturers within three months of coming to power in 2019. Amid the ongoing fasting, the contract lecturers met the opposition leader who visited Burugupudi in East Godavari district.
The contract lecturers said that despite working for several years on contract basis, their services have not been regularised. Speaking to them, YS Jagan asked them to tolerate the pain for two more years after which a people’s government would be formed in Andhra Pradesh.Later, he went Gummuluru Village to unveil the statue of people’s leader YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Jagan has been continuing his second day tour in East Godavari district.
