YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has demanded ex-gratia for families of the deadly bus accident. He strongly alleged the TDP government for ignoring the major accident in the State, YS Jagan has demanded Rs 5 lakh to families of deceased and Rs50,000 Ex-gratia each for the injured persons.
He has consoled the injured passengers at the hospital and families of those who were killed in the accident. Kakinada based a private bus from Hyderabad forced into an irrigation canal on the Khammam-Hyderabad highway 2am on Monday.
18 persons were killed and 17 injured in the accident. The speeding bus rammed the parapet wall of the bridge, which is an accident-prone stretch, across the Nagarjunasagar Project (NSP) left bank canal before nosediving into the irrigation channel.
