Amids mounting speculation over Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary, Chief Minister Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh has said that he is not yet ready for the post.
He further added my present post is bigger one than the Minister and I have great responsibility to fulfill, which was kept on my shoulder. Mr. Lokesh has said that he had met UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav recently in Hyderabad. Mr. Lokesh said Mr. Akhilesh had told him that the Samajwadi Party and the TDP were the only two national parties that had a strong party cadre. But the recent developments in their family had set him thinking. However, a few senior leaders of the party felt that his remarks could be send wrong signals to the cadre. Mr. Lokesh has been emerged as key person in the party and he has been involved in all key decisions in the last two years, and the signals that has send to the all cadre is that he is being groomed as the heir apparent to Mr. Naidu. Some senior ministers, party leaders believe that Mr. Lokesh has all the qualities to head the party. Thus, the demand of taking the ministerial responsibility is arouses whenever it comes out in to news.
