Naidu asked party leaders maintain silence on Mudragada padayatra

Telugu Desam Party president, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked his party leaders to maintain strategic control on the padayatra taken up by Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham. He apparently realizing the sensitivity of the renewed Kapu agitation issued strong instructions to the party leaders that not to attack Mudragada and make provocative statements.

He also said that Kapu leader is trying to provoke the ruling party leaders, so that the agitation turns violent. The party supremo told the party leaders don’t react to his padayatra, Let him do it and we shall go in our own way to counter it.

Naidu further asked party men to extensively propagate the steps taken by the government so far on the Kapu reservation issue and the welfare schemes being implemented for them. At the same time, we need to tell the Kapus that the government is serious in including them in BCs. he said.
