YSR Congress party legislator and firebrand actress R K Roja has shown her aggrieves on the demonitization of Rs.500 and Rs.1000. On Sunday, YSRCP MLA, R.K.Roja visited the State Bank of India branch at Nagari and stood in the queue to exchange her old currency.
But by the time her turn came, the money in the bank has exhausted and she pulled up the manager for not keeping enough money in the bank. She questioned the Bank officials for not able to make the alternatives to avoid the inconvenience to the daily labors, small scale venders and formers.
She takes on BJP and TDP leaders and alleged that they were very much aware of the note bank through his BJP sources, especially Venkaiah Naidu, and diverted all his money. Roja wondered why Naidu and his family had closed the deal of Heritage Fresh with Future group just a couple days before the high-value currency ban. She further alleged that obviously, Naidu got the news about the demonitisation. Hence, he quickly closed the deal with the Future group so that all the black money would be converted into white.
