The Erramanzil court in Hyderabad has sentenced TDP leader Labbi Venkataswamy to a one-year jail term in a case of cheque bounce.
The court sentenced while responding to a petition filed by a real estate person .
The petitioner alleged that the cheques he gave him bounced back and didn’t give him the amount even after several months.
The court also awarded jail term for Ramehsh, Gopi and Bandari along with the TDP leader. Venkataswamy lost the 2014 elections on the TDP ticket.
