65% of the employees is of the opinion to go to the new capital lonely, leaving their families in Hyderabad because of the education of their children and other reasons. The employees union of A.P state government has already requested the government to provide shelter to those who go there without families.Only 35% of the employees are willing to go there along with their families.
It is estimated that 9,500 employees are to be shifted to Amaravathi. In that 7,500 employees are related to departments and 2000employees belong to Secretariate.
