Andhra Pradesh Main Opposition Leader and YSR Congress party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has as of late declared his choice to boycott the up and coming AP Assembly sessions, said that Telugu Desam Party originator and previous Chief Minister NTR is a motivation for him in boycotting Assembly.
Jagan reminded that NTR, who was the leader of andhra pradesh rulling party at that point, had boycotted Assembly when he felt offended by the Telugu Desam Party party.
He refered to the cases of Jayalalithaa and even Chandrababu Naidu who had boycotted Assembly sessions at various circumstances in their separate political vocations.
A decision to this effect was taken at the YSRC legislature party meeting in Hyderabad under president YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The winter session of the state assembly will begin on November 10.
YSRC is the only opposition party in the assembly and if it abstains from the sessions, it would be the first time that the state assembly will run without the opposition.
In the last three years, as many as 20 MLAs have defected to the TDP without resigning from their posts.
And four of these defectors were given berths in the TDP cabinet even while continuing as the opposition MLAs.
YSRCP leaders demanded that they wouldn’t go to the Assembly sessions until the point when move is made against the YSRCP MLAs who surrendered to Telugu Desam Party without leaving to the MLA seats.
