Andhra pradesh opposition leader and YSR Congress Party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy has started his Day 17 of Praja Sankalpa Yatra on 25 november at 8.30 AM on Saturday from Veldurthi in Pattikonda location .
As a component of his yatra, YS Jagan will cover Veldurthi, Cherukulapadu, Putluru Crossroad and Togarachedu Cross amid the first half of the day. After that YS Jaganmohan Reddy would then meet local people at Krishnagiri, where he would break for lunch.
After the lunch lunch YS Jaganmohan Reddy would re-begin the Praja Sankalpa Yatra at 3.30 PM. At 6.30 PM he would achieve Ramakrishnapuram. Amid the initial 16 days of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra , YS Jaganmohan Reddy has secured 225.6 km.
He has so far secured Pulivendula, Kamalapuram, Jammalamadugu, Proddatur and Mydukur assembly constituencies in YSR district and Allagadda, Banaganapalle and Dhone and Pattikonda assembly constituencies in Kurnool locale.
The Praja Sankalpa Yatra started on November 6 at Idupulapaya in YSR district . The Padayatra is garnering a lot of support with the people lining up the roads up to 3 km to welcome him.
Some of the supporters are willingly following Jagan in his Padayatra and are wishing grand victory for him. Unemployed youth are confident that the YSRCP Chief would bring in a bright future for them. The Padayatra, expected to cover 3000 km, will continue for 180 days and YS Jagan will tour 125 constituencies and address 125 Public Meetings.

The Aarogyasri programme includes financial help from the government if the head of the house has incapacitating health issues in order to aid out the family and pensions would be given to the patients suffering from kidney ailments.
Jana Yagnam is an assurance that the irrigation projects would be completed in a phased manner. The projects include Polavaram, Pattiseema, Galeru Nagari, Handri Neeva, Veligonda, Purushothapatnam and Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi.
As for the Housing Scheme, 25 lakh houses will be constructed for the poor families in the state with registrations in the name of women of the household. Also, they can mortgage the house for zero interest loans.
Fee reimbursement scheme introduced by late YS Rajasekhar Reddy will be brought back as the government will fund education for the students who can’t afford the fees. They will be given Rs 20,000 annually for their basic necessities.
In the YSR Aasara scheme, an amount of Rs 15000 crore would be allocated for the 89 lakh DWCRA women in AP.
The Aasara pension scheme will provide all eligible sections of the community, a pension of Rs 2000 per month.
As for the Amma Vodi programme, it aims to financially help the students on a monthly basis.
Coming to the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme, 66 lakh small and marginal farmers who hold less than five acres of land will be given Rs 50,000 each. Every year in the month of May, the farmers will be given Rs 12,500. In case of drought and floods, a Calamity Relief Fund of Rs 2,000 crores will be set up. Rs 33,000 crores will be allocated to the farmers via this scheme and will be given directly to the farmers.
Prohibition of alcohol includes three phases where the government will reduce the number of liquor shops alongside creating an awareness campaign. Next, the rates will be increased so that liquor becomes unaffordable to the poor and the middle-class. Rehabilitation centers will be set up for alcohol addicts and alcohol will be made available only in Three and Five Star hotels.
