YSR Congress Party responded on AOB encounter in the state and demanded a probe into encounter which claimed the lives of 30 Maoists and One Police personal. YSRCP official spokesperson Vasireddy Padma stated that YSRCP was fully against terrorism and our party believed that any ideological differences with Maoists should be taken up in a peaceful manner within the boundaries of the Constitution.
Vasi Reddy further added that there are differences of opinion on what the government claims in Andhra Odisha Boarder incident. The YSRCP leader pointed out that both the media and civil rights organizations expressed doubts that the Malkangiri encounter. Since there were differences of opinion, she said YSRCP is demanding the state government should order an impartial investigation into the AOB encounter.
