When Y.S.Jagan stepped up as a Chief Minister, many speculated Sharmila will be given a Ministry among the Leaders. But till now Jagan went unannounced regarding that matter, as he immersed himself in wellness of people, providing jobs, fighting against corruption. Now that he is even finished cabinet composition, he seems to have shifted his responsibility to his sister Sharmila.
Jagan is planning on granting well deserved important role to Sharmila as she proved not once but many times by standing as the backbone of the party. According to hearsay, she could become Party Working President. Presently Jagan is working as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the work of nation and work of party has become more than his plate can handle. So the Party regarding works will be shifted on to the shoulders of Y.S.Sharmila.
Sharmila never complained about not being recognized by the party for her work. She always stood by her brother words and decisions. Even while cabinet composition she never raised any concerns regarding her position. She always seemed to have placed brother’s decision before hers. For such kind attitude, the Leaders of YCP are expecting Jagan to bestow a well deserved position to her.
In previous elections Sharmila proved her worth by slogan “Bye Bye Babu, Bye Bye Pappu”. She gained fame in social media very soon. Even in 2014 elections she played a crucial role. Even when Jagan was jailed on false statements. Sharmila stood as the backbone of the party and did not let it fall. After her father, she is the one who did March, which made sure the safety of praty from facing downfall. She did what all she could do for the party and she went the extra mile. She took care of her responsibility as a Daughter, as a Sister and as a Responsible Leader to the people. Many YCP Leaders are agreeing on her position in the Party.
