Unknown chatting in Social Networking proved once again how danger it is?. A 19 year old student has arrested case was booked under the extortion, cheating and criminal intimidation.
Akash, Hotel Management student had become 23 year old victim on the social networking site. After some time he started demanding Rs 5 lakh and threatening to post nude photos on Facebook. The victim had paid him Rs. 5 lakh and later gave a complaint in local Police Station. After which, Police were arrested him and booked case under IPC sections 384 (extortion), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC, the Inspector told. The accused was arrested and has produced before a court and further investigation is going on this case, Inspector told to media.
