Telangana Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation targeting property tax of 400 crores

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will gather Rs 400 crore as property charge in March this year 2018 . The settled focus for gathering of property tax in this budgetary year (2017-18) is Rs 14,000 crore, out of which the Civic Body has just accomplished 71.03 percent ( Rs 994.39 crore) and the rest of the 29 percent will be finished before the finish of this financial year .
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation will escalate Property tax accumulation at all the five zones in an offer to gather Rs 400 crore in this month.
The commissioner said that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation had taken up various steps for improving collection of property tax
Accordingly, Bharathi Hollikeri has been appointed special officer for Central Zone, besides Adwait Kumar Singh for West Zone, Musharraf Ali for East Zone, and Sikta Patnaik for South Zone.
To solve issues pertaining to property tax, meetings will be conducted in all circle offices on Sunday, between 9.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
People may attend the meetings for quick redressal of their issues.
The meetings will be continued on February 25, March 4, 11 and 25 too.
