Outpatients of 800 at Gandhi hospital reamained unattended on Wednesday because of the staff of Arogyasri went on strike. The staff protested the non appointment of a co-ordinator to monitor cases at the hospital.

The former co-ordinator’s term came to an end in February. For the past two months there has been no co-ordinator. Angry patients had to return as there was no one to register their cards. Consequently surgeries could be planned as the admission process of recording cases are not followed.
