In 2013, Mr.Akbaruddin Owaisi was said to have aroused communal feelings in public meetings at Nirmal and Nizamabad. Two cases were registered by the police, but no progress is made so far in the enquiry.

Mr. Syed Tharaq Kadhri filed a PIL in the High Court requesting the court for an early enquiry .After hearing the arguments the temperory chief justice directed that the details should be placed before the court. The case has come again before the court onMonday,the public prosecuter stated that charge sheet was submitted. However the court have decided to close the case.
