Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh takes on the Telangana government with the increasing the cost of irrigation projects in several times in the state. He has criticized that Telangana government has increased the value of each project by 100 to 200 times.

They are taking everyone for a ride, not fulfilling their election promises. Singh further said  that he was really laughing when the Prime Minister praised the Chief Minister and KCR praised Narendra Modi during the his last visit in Telangana.

The Congress party feels that KCR is fooling the peoplehe further said that Congress is prepared to take on KCR and also expose him in the public because of the false promises he has made. He alleged that the state government has not given any funds, power and authority to panchayats.
