Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh takes on the TRS Chief K.Chandrasekhara Rao led Telangana government on Central funds. He demanded explanation from the Telangana Chief Minister KCR about utilization of Rs.90,000 crore which is released by the Central government.
Digvijay Singh reminds that according to BJP national president Amit Shah, the Centre had sanctioned Rs. 90,000 crore funds on different schemes. He demanded to release the expenditure of the central funds. While, Mr Singh wondered whether the money was used by the TRS to buy legislators of opposition parties.
He accused the TRS government of “forcibly” acquiring land for various projects such as the one related to Mallanna Sagar irrigation. He alleged that the government was “violating” farmers’ rights by “denying them the right compensation” as per the Land Acquisition Act, 2013.
