The Telangana government has decided to make another interesting appointment in the state. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao has decided to appoint former Congress MP G. Vivek as an advisor on inter-state affairs. Chief Minister has directed officials to issue orders in this regard, sources in the Chief Minister’s Office said.
Vivek, son of former Union Minister and late Congress leader G Venkataswamy, was a member of the previous Lok Sabha from Congress. He joined the ruling TRS in Telangana later. TRS leader D Srinivas, who had served as state Congress chief in undivided Andhra Pradesh, held the post of advisor to the Telangana government on inter-state affairs. He was later elected to the Rajya Sabha.
