GHMC polls to be held in October?

Finally, the Telangana Government is said to have decided to conduct elections for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in October.

According to reliable sources in the TRS say that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has asked his party leaders to be prepared for the GHMC polls in October. Recently, the Hyderabad High Court pulled up the Government for dilly-dallying on the polls.

The state government issued orders on Saturday increasing the number of divisions of Greater Hyderabad to 200.
