Telangana Industries minister KT Rama Rao is suffering with additional responsibilities. At present, KTR was holding key portfolios like Industries, Information Technology, Municipal Administration and Urban Development and NRIs affairs.
In view of heavy responsibilities, KTR has requested his father and supreme of the government, K.Chandrasekhara Rao to relieve him from the additional responsibilities. He has been busy in visiting the several countries in the world to attract the investments. He is also expressed unable to spend quality of time to other ministerial affairs. KTR is mainly worried that he has no time to address the issues in Municipal Administration and particularly in Greater Hyderabad municipal corporation affairs.
He faced strong criticism from all sections of people recently for failed to address civic issues particularly road repairs, demolition of illegal buildings and his utter failure in implementing 100 day action plan for GHMC development. TRS leaders say KTR desperately wanted to get relief from the Municipal Administration portfolio as he failed to allocate sufficient time to the particular department. However, KCR sought some time to provide relief to KCR until a suitable candidate is identified for the post.
