KCR and his Ministers launched 21 new districts

The Youngest state in the country, Telangana has witnessed biggest administrative reform.  Telangana Rashtra Samiti founder, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao led government in the state formally inaugurated all the 21 new districts headquarters with the objective of making the administrative functioning effectively.

With this, the total number of districts in the state reached to 31 from here on today. Chief Minister and Ministers launched 21 new districts carved out of the existing 10 districts in the state.  Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated Siddipet district at Siddipet by hoisting the national flag. He also inaugurated the district collectorate which is temporarily arranged in Ambedkar Bhavan. Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao and party leaders attended.

KCR has said on this occasion is that creation of new districts is done only to bring administration to the doorsteps of common man. KCR further added that Siddipet is a special district as his native place falls in it and he feels so proud to inaugurate it. He showered promises to the people of Siddipeta that announcing a police commissionerate and a medical college will be set up here.  Chief Ministter has also given assurance to Harish Rao for help in development of the district. Telangana now has 31 districts with 21 new, 68 revenue divisions with 25 new and 584 mandals with 95 new. After KCR, his cabinet colleagues innagurated the remaining new districts as mentioned below.

Peddapally: Finance Minister Etela Rajender

Kamareddy: Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy

Manchiryal: Excise Minister Padma Rao

Vikarabad: Minister Jogu Ramanna

Suryapet: Power Minister Jagadish Reddy

Kothagudem: Tummala Nageswara Rao

Nirmal: Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy
