KCR directed officials to send proposals for regularize employees

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed officials to examine the possibility of regularizing the outsourced employees. He further asked the electricity employees’ unions to call off their proposed strike on December 6. Telangana Chief Minister conducted review meeting on the issue with officials.

In the meeting he told to the officials that outsourcing employees in Transco, Genco, and discoms have been working for several years on nominal salaries should be regularized on humanitarian grounds. The CM further asked the officials to prepare guidelines for the purpose. The government is ready to settle all the issues of the electricity employees cordially through talks,” KCR said, adding to come for a dialogue with Power Minister Jagadeeshwar Reddy on this issue. The chief minister also asked the employees not to fall prey to the strike given on political considerations and to prevent any inconvenience to the general public by going on a strike.
