KCR to meet Mallannasagar oustees today

With 80% of land oustees under Kondapochamma reservoir choosing to sell their property to the government, the Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has now turned his emphasis on Mallannasagar to end the discussion for the last time.
As indicated by sources, the Chief Minister would have discourses with the land oustees of Vemulaghat and the neighboring towns on Saturday at his farmhouse. On Friday, a couple of police staff went to Vemulaghat and met the villagers welcoming them to visit the farmhouse and meet the Chief Minister.
The villagers have been on hand-off quick for as long as 412 days. The land oustees are allowed to express their feelings of trepidation and set forth their requests before the Chief Minister, who will accept a last approach the issue of pay and restoration.
As the government had just guaranteed to build double room houses for the oustees, the main issue that should be arranged is the remuneration to be paid,” said a source .
