The government of Telangana has decided to install the statue of Mr. B.R. Ambedkar with a hieght of 120 feet at NTR gardens. On Sunday deputy chiefministers of Telangana Mr. Kadiyam Srihari, Mahmood Ali and Jagadhish reddy visited different parts of th city and chose NTR gardens as a suitable place for installing the statue.

The birthday celebrations of Ambedkar would be held on 14 th instant for which a seperate G.O has also been issued by the government of Telangana. On the same day foundation stone would be laid down and a public meeting would be held with 10,000 people. Thereafter the NTR gardens would be  named after Ambedkar gardens.
