Nikhil Reddy gets relief in height-Increase Surgery Case

TMC cancelled doctor license for two year

The Telangana Medical Council cancelled Dr Chandrabhushan’s Global Hospital, who performed the height-increasing surgery on Nikhil Reddy. The Council has opinioned that Dr. Chandrabhushan has done unscientific and unethical medical practices.

On this ground, the council has cancelled Dr Chandrabhushan’s license to practice for two years. Six months ago, Nikhil Reddy approached Global Hospital to undergo a surgery to increase his height. After the procedure, Nikhil was confined to bed and is unable to walk. Nikhil’s parents lodged complaints with the Human Rights Commission and the Indian Medical Council. Alike, the licence of Dr Namratha of Kukatpalli-based Srushti Test Tube Baby Centre has been cancelled for five years. Dr Rahul, Dr Minhaz Zafar, Dr Harikumar have been punished by cancelling their licences for six months each. Dr Manoj Kumar of Kathlapur in Jagityal too faced similar punishment those who are involved in unscitific medical practices.
