Steep raise of Revenue to the TS exchequer

TS tax revenue has registered a sharp increase in the first two months of the 2016-17 financial year. Mr.KCR reviewed the functioning of tax yeilding departments such as commercial, excise stamps and registrations.

The revenue during April and May was Rs 7687 crores agaist 6,031crores at the same time last year. A steep raise is found by 27.45%.

“If the same trend continues, the state will get additional revenue of Rs 11,500 crores during the 2016-17 in addition to Rs 45,000 crores to 50,00 crores of total revenue to the exchequer. Mr.KCR felt happy over the growth.
