T-govt failed to take up precautionary actions in Hyderabad

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao led Telangana government haven’t been learned lessons for the immediate heavy rains. With in a week the heart of the Telangana and capital city of the state, Hederabad has been lashout with heavy rain fall.

The public life in the city has been distrubed. Many low lying localities were flooded and roads are filled with rain water. It resulted heavy traffic jams in the city as vehicles stuck on roads coming from different parts city since morning. Greater Hyderabad municipal corporation is failed in initiating the precautionary methods.

Even it issued warning alerts to the people not to venture out until water flow receded in low lying areas. panjagutta, Begumpet, Malkajigiri and kukatpalli areas are the worst affected. Traffic police and GHMC officials are struggling hard to clear roads from traffic at every Junction. With huge inflows from the upper streams, Water levels at Hussain Sagar reached dangerous levels.

Efforts were on to discharge water from hussain Sagar to downstreams. Alerted by the warning that city will receive heavy rains in next 24 hours, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who was in New Delhi has been enquiring the conditions and guiding the  precautionary actions to officials .
