Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao met the poets and Film makers and asked them to make films and pen lyrics to reflect various schemes and programmes launched by the state government for the welfare of farmers.
TDP to feels ridiculous, and says,” KCR has time to hold meetings with film personalities and poets to undertake positive campaign for his government. But, he has no time to visit at least one market yard in the state to console the distressed chilli farmers.”
On Sunday, talking with reporters, Politburo member Ravula Chandrashekhara Reddy commented,”The free fertilizer scheme will be implemented after 13 months in order to lure the ryots into the TRS fold in the election year.

It is very strange that the chief minister wants films and songs to praise such proposed schemes, which will be put into effect only after one year, in order to create an impression that his government is introducing several welfare schemes for farmers. But he is not at all addressing the immediate needs of chilli farmers, who are in dire need of support.”
He wants the poets and filmmakers to include the suicides of 3,000 farmers, which have occurred in the past three years during KCR’s rule, in the poems they were going to write and films they were going to make on farmers in the state.
