Telangana Chief Minister Set to Start Another Irrigation Project

TRS Chief and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is booked to visit the Jogulamba-Gadwal area on June 29 and will establish the foundation for the Gattu Lift Irrigation Project at Penchikala village in Jogulamba Gadwal district on June 29..

As per the Chief Minister’s Office, he will likewise assess the advance of work at the Thummilla Lift Irrigation Scheme and address an public gathering in Gadwal composed by TRS.

The state government had endorsed the arrival of Rs 553.58 crore as assets for Phase I and Phase II of the Gattu venture a month ago. Intended to give water system to 28,000 sections of land in upland zones of Gattu, Dharur and KT Doddi mandals, the task will balance out 41 minor water system tanks in 15 towns of the three mandals .

In a separate release the CMO said former Hyderabad High Court Judge M S K Jaiswal has been appointed as the chairman of the Telangana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
