Congress candidate for Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency and previous MP Lagadapati Rajagopal , who has been avoiding dynamic political issues as far back as the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, approached Telangana jagruthi leader and MP K Kavitha at the last’s living residence in High Tech city.
Lagadapti welcomed Kavitha to his child’s marriage planned for November in Hyderabad. The Andhra pradesh leader asked for the TRS pioneer to guarantee her essence in the marriage function.
It is learnt that Lagadapti and Kavitha likewise traded strives on fastly changing political improvements in the two states which included Telugu Desam Party leader Revanth Reddy’s joining Congress, YSR Congress party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s padayatra and individuals’ recognition on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu government’s execution in Andhra Pradesh.
Few days ago Former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal met the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the State Secretariat in Amaravathi . Though Rajagopal has quit active politics, time and again he conducts political surveys and reminds people of his political links.
Reports say that he is ready to join TDP (Telugu Desam Party) and is willing to contest in the next elections if he is given a Vijayawada ticket in the party.
His surveys during the Nandyal by-election forecasted victory for TDP. In this context he met the CM at the Secretariat. When media questioned him about the reason for his visit, he briefly said that he came since the CM summoned him.
He also asked the media not to politicise this meeting. He also said that he didn’t conduct any surveys after Nandyal by-election.
