All of a sudden a shocking news to Telangana’s rulling party TRS, its party member and active Vemulawada MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh Babu has been confirmed as a German native, not an Indian citizen. Thus, his political power of MLA position is probably going to be ended.
Union Home Ministry has affirmed that Ramesh is not any more an Indian national in the wake of checking the documents gave by Ramesh amid the filling of his nomination at 2014 general elections. The Union Ministry found that document gave by Ramesh is said to be “fabricated” and is not “real”.
This is currently liable to put a full stop to long fight pursued by his opponent camdidate Aadi Srinivas since 2009. Srinivas has moved High Court and even Supreme Court against Ramesh’s citizenship lastly, Union Ministry has articulated decision on Ramesh’s citizenship.
As indicated by reports, Ramesh had professedly crossed out his Indian citizenship and moved to Germany where he has been filling in as an professor in an Agricultural University and wedded a German lady there. Thus, Ramesh is not any more Indian.
What’s more, India doesn’t acknowledge double citizenship. In this way, Ramesh’s citizenship is presently considered as Germany. Aadi Srinivas challenged from Congress lost to Ramesh in 2009. What’s more, he again lost to Ramesh in 2014 general elections when Aadi challenged from BJP with an exceptionally delicate distinction.
In any case, Chinnamaneni Ramesh expressed that he would go to request on his citizenship. While Aadi Srinivas is requesting that he would be declared as Vemulawada MLA since he has come in the second place, TRS is currently stressed that a by-election would be reported in Vemulawada. More details about the by elections to be announced soon by telangana TRS government .
