A..Aa director Mr. Trivikram Srinivas said that the names of two characters Pratap Reddy and Bal Reddy had been withdrawn as it hurt the sentiments of Reddy community. According to the source the film went in for recertification and the names of the characters were muted after the censor board’s re-certification.
In brief sources say that the Reddy Jana Sangam had lodged a complaint with CBF about the character of Shakalaka Shankar who played thief by name Pratap reddy and his father Balreddyof Banjara hills. The director said,” As they were digital prints distributed after certification, we could’nt d anything astey are usually locked for a week. We have resert all theatres screening the film, the digital prints with the cuts.”
