The person who was injured in the hit and run case filed a writ petetion in the Supreme Court challenging the acquitteal of Salman Khan by the Bombay High Court. Mr. Salman Khan’s car hit and injured Mr.Muslim Niyamat Shaikh in the year 2002 for which the special leave petetion filed by Mr.Shaikh who was injured in th accident.
He prayed the SC to quash the HC verdict and direct the Maharastra government and Mr. Salman Khan to pay him compensation. The petetion is to be heard on Friday before a bench headed by Justice J.S. Khehar.
The petetioner contended that the HC has wrongly aqitted Mr. Khan ignoring the material points relating to the statement given by the petetioner before the police . The trial court sentenced him for five years regorous punishment.
