The railway has supplied 6.20 crores litres of water by train to Lathur in last month. Now the railway authorities have sent a bill to the Lathur district collector for the payment of the bill costing Rs 4 crores.
The water was carried from Miraj to Lathur covering a distance of 342 kilometres for which the railway authorities claimed the amount mentioned above.
