Darshaka Ratna Dasari Narayan Rao has passed away

Veteran Telugu Director Dasari Narayana Rao (75) who had joined hospital in Hyderabad, died after prolonged illness on Tuesday. He was suffered with a lung and kidneys issues. He had Gastric Balloon surgery in the past around a month in hospital and got discharged after when he cured.

The director even celebrated his birthday on 4 May which was attended by biggies such as Megastar Chiranjeevi.He was admitted in KIMS hospital last week after getting his condition serious and a surgery was done three days ago. There are few condolences shared by the stars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan on Twitter.

“Shri Dasari Narayan Raoji, my dearest and closest well-wisher and friend. One of the greatest directors of India. His demise is a loss to the whole Indian film industry. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May his soul RIP.” Wrote Rajinikanth on Twitter.Kamal Haasan said,”My sympathy and Condolences to the family of Dasari Narayana Rao. His loss is truly a big loss for Telugu cinema. Late K.B.Sir admired him.”

He added on Twitter,”I remember the days spent with Narayan Rao gaaru and Mr Sanjeev Kumar ji. Yaadgaar. He was a great fan of Mr. KB. I belong to a great family.”He was an Indian film maker, dialogue writer, actor and lyricist known for his predominantly in Telugu films and few Bollywood films. He directed nearly 140 films and featured in 50 films in a variety of genres. He has received two National Film Awards, nine state Nandi Awards. He holds Limca World Record for directing the most number of films.
