Mrs. Knathi Maria a girijan woman of Chennur, Ahilabad district lost her husband six years ago. He was a railway driver. The widow became a coolie. She approached the concerned railway authorities to provide her a small job on the sympathetic grounds, but the railway authorities did not show any mercy nor sympathy on her.

She added that the Rly. authorities directed her “to get out — no job … nothing doing” is the cold reply received by her. She also reported that the concerned  Rly. authorities demanded Rs.3,00,000 to provide her a job. She approached Bandaru Dattatreya the Central minister in Delhi and narrated the entire story. We have to wait and see what the minister will do in this matter.
