Ragging in Noida injured two students

Two boys aged 15 and 16 from Uttar pradesh and Kolkata respectively were beaten with iron rods by their seniors when they objected ragging on Monday night at the hostel of Delhi Public school in Noida.

The Assistant Superindent of Police Mr. Gaurav Gover, said that “One of the parents has filed a complaint against six named students and 12 unknown students. FIR has been lodged at sector 20 police station yesterday.”

Amarnath Yadav, SHO, said, ” As accused are minors we have called the Childline Indian Foundation to interrogate them and further action will taken as per law.”

Sources say that both the students have injuries on their bodies but they are safe and will be discharged after first aid. The school management set an enquiry committe to look into the matter.
