CPI leaders have met the Jana Sena Chief and Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan here on Thursday. CPI secretary Ramakrishna and CPI MLC Chandrasekhar Rao all together discuss the prevailing economic and political situations in the state with Pawan Kalyan.

 Besides special status for Andhra Pradesh, issues such as demonetization and problems faced by farmers due to land pooling were also discussed at the meeting. Later, addressing the media the CPI leaders said the two sides discussed ways to launch a joint action plan to fight against anti people policies which is taken up by the both Central and State governments. Meanwhile, Pawan maintained it was a courtesy call.
