Kapu Leader Mudragada Padmanabham was house arrest for 48 hours by Police, who would launch his Padayatra by disregarding the High Court orders. This step has turned sensitized the tense situation at Kirlampudi in East Godavari districts.
Earlier, the HC has granted permission to host his proposed padayatra with peacefully. However, the Police intercept his padayatra.They requested to cancel or postpone the padayatra in the interest of peace and harmony in the state. In light of the developments Mudragada has postponed his Padayatra for indefinite time.However, the padayatra scheduled to organize from 16th November to 21st of this month. It is planning to be start at Ravulapalem and ends at Antharvedi. The High Court had earlier in the day refused to deny permission to the march stating that everyone had the right to demonstrate peacefully in a democracy.
