If the buzz is to be believed, residents of Andhra Pradesh capital city Amaravathi is set for high amount of taxes. According to the reports, UK Export Finance Committee (UKEFC), engaged by State government has suggested the investment strategies for the development of the capital city.
In its report entitled ‘Amaravathi 21st century capital- investment strategy’ has reportedly suggested that AP government consider levying user charges to pool up funds for the capital city. If Naidu’s government followed the committee recommendations, residents in Amaravathi will be faced heavy taxes in the name of user charges. If everything goes well according to UKEFC, the residents and farmers of the of CRDA area, who were already in deep trouble with demonetization of heavy notes, will subjected to face further trouble.
